Buying Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Meenakshi Mukundha Times (MM Times). These Buying Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all purchases you make from us, whether:

  • Through our website: www.mmtimes.in and its sub-domains (including marts and hubs),
  • Through our online stores or marketplaces managed by MM Times,
  • Via WhatsApp, phone, email, or any other communication channel,
  • Or through offline/physical bookings and orders.

By placing an order with MM Times, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not proceed with any purchase.

1. Scope & Applicability

These Terms apply to:

  • Products sold by MM Times (including customized products, electronics, tools, materials, etc.),
  • Services such as workshops, trainings, registrations, consulting, design, and development,
  • Any bundled offers, packages, or combo services.

In some cases, additional specific terms may apply (for example: workshop guidelines, project terms, or manufacturing contracts). In case of a conflict, the specific terms for that service will prevail over these general Buying Terms.

These Terms should be read together with:

  • Quality of Service
  • Return & Refund Policy
  • Privacy & Data Protection
  • Customer Rights & Support

2. Eligibility to Purchase

By placing an order with MM Times, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old, or you have the consent and supervision of a legal guardian.
  • You are legally competent to enter into a binding contract under the applicable laws of India.
  • You are providing accurate, complete, and current information for billing, shipping, and communication.

3. Product & Service Information

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that all:

  • Product images,
  • Specifications,
  • Features,
  • Pricing, and
  • Descriptions

displayed on our website or shared through our communication channels are accurate and updated.

However, there may be minor variations due to:

  • Display differences (color/brightness),
  • Component or design upgrades,
  • Manufacturer changes,

without compromising the core purpose and quality of the product or service.

For customized products, sourcing, R&D-based solutions, and made-to-order items, final appearance, finish, or minor design details may vary based on feasibility, material availability, and technical safety requirements.

4. Pricing & Taxes

  • All prices displayed are generally in Indian Rupees (₹) unless clearly mentioned otherwise.
  • Prices may be inclusive or exclusive of GST and other applicable taxes, which will be clearly mentioned in the quotation, invoice, or checkout.

MM Times reserves the right to:

  • Update or revise prices,
  • Run limited-time offers or discounts,
  • Change or discontinue any product or service,

at its sole discretion, without prior notice.

If there is a pricing error (due to typographical, technical, or system issues), we reserve the right to:

  • Cancel the order, or
  • Revise the price and seek your confirmation

before proceeding. If you do not wish to continue, you will receive a refund as per our Return & Refund Policy.

5. Order Placement & Confirmation

You can place orders through:

  • Our website or e-commerce pages,
  • WhatsApp / Email confirmation,
  • Direct call or in-person booking.

An order is considered “proposed” when:

  • You submit your details and confirm interest, or
  • You receive a quotation and verbally or digitally accept it.

An order is considered “confirmed” when:

  • You have made the required advance/payment, and
  • You receive a formal confirmation (invoice, receipt, order ID, or written confirmation) from MM Times.

MM Times reserves the right to accept or reject any order due to:

  • Product unavailability,
  • Location limitations,
  • Payment issues,
  • Compliance or safety reasons,
  • Any other valid business or technical reason.

If your order is rejected after payment, the amount will be refunded as per the Return & Refund Policy.

6. Payments

We may accept multiple payment methods, including:

  • UPI, Net Banking, Cards,
  • Wallets, Bank Transfers,
  • Cash (where applicable),
  • Other methods communicated from time to time.

For certain services/products, MM Times may require:

  • Full advance payment, or
  • Partial advance with balance payment upon completion/dispatch.

You agree to:

  • Use only authorized payment methods,
  • Ensure that all payment details provided are correct and valid.

MM Times is not responsible for:

  • Payment failures due to banking, network, or third-party gateway issues,
  • Delays caused due to transaction verification or clearance.

7. Shipping, Delivery & Risk of Loss

Delivery timelines are estimated and depend on:

  • Product/service type,
  • Manufacturing or sourcing time,
  • Courier and transport conditions,
  • Your delivery location.

You will be informed of:

  • Expected dispatch or completion timelines,
  • Delivery or installation schedule (where applicable).

Risk of loss or damage generally passes to you:

  • For shipped products: once handed over to the courier/logistics partner,
  • For hand-delivered products/services: at the time of delivery/installation/activation.

If you notice any visible damage on delivery:

  • Please take clear photos/videos immediately,
  • Inform us and the delivery partner at once,
  • Refer to our Exchange Policy and Return & Refund Policy for applicable solutions.

8. Customized Orders, Projects & Manufacturing

For custom-built products, projects, or manufactured items, the scope, features, and specifications will be:

Clearly discussed and documented in advance (quotation, email, or agreement).

Once design and scope are approved by you and production has started:

  • Major changes may attract additional charges and extended timelines,
  • Some changes may not be possible due to technical, legal, or safety reasons.

Advance paid for customized or made-to-order items may be non-refundable or partially refundable, as defined in the Return & Refund Policy and specific project terms.

9. Cancellations & Modifications

You may request cancellation or modification of your order before:

  • Production is initiated (for custom orders),
  • Dispatch is completed (for ready products),
  • Or as per the specific service timeline.

Acceptance of cancellation or modification is subject to:

  • Order status,
  • Work already completed,
  • Third-party commitments (materials, vendors, logistics).

Any refund for cancellations will be processed as per our Return & Refund Policy, after:

  • Deduction of applicable processing, usage, or material costs (if any).

10. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

General conditions for returns, refunds, and exchanges are governed by:

  • Exchange Policy, and
  • Return & Refund Policy

which form an integral part of these Terms.

Not all products or services are eligible for return or exchange, especially:

  • Custom-built or made-to-order products,
  • Software, digital deliverables, and licenses,
  • Services already rendered (workshops, consulting, design done, etc.),
  • Items damaged due to misuse, improper handling, or unauthorized modifications.

Please refer to the detailed policies on:

  • Timelines,
  • Condition of the product,
  • Documentation required,

before raising a return or exchange request.

11. Warranty & After-Sales Support

Certain products sold by MM Times may carry:

  • Manufacturer warranty, or
  • MM Times warranty,

which will be mentioned on the invoice, product description, or documentation.

Warranty cover is usually limited to:

  • Manufacturing defects and functional issues,

and does not include:

  • Physical damage, burn marks, liquid damage, or mishandling,
  • Damage due to incorrect installation by unauthorised persons,
  • Normal wear and tear of parts,
  • Usage beyond recommended specifications.

For any warranty-related concern:

  • You may be required to share photos/videos, invoices, and serial details,
  • MM Times or its partners will inspect and provide a suitable resolution as per warranty terms.

12. Customer Responsibilities

By placing an order, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact, billing, and shipping information.
  • Ensure that someone is available to receive the delivery at the given address.
  • Use products responsibly and in accordance with:
    • User manuals,
    • Safety instructions,
    • Legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Not to use any MM Times product or service for:
    • Illegal activities,
    • Harmful, abusive, or unsafe practices.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MM Times shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages,
  • Loss of profit, data, business, or opportunity,

arising from the use, misuse, or inability to use our products or services.

In any case, MM Times’ total liability for any claim related to a purchase shall be limited to:

  • The actual amount paid by you for that specific product or service.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by proven gross negligence,
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation,
  • Any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable laws.

14. Intellectual Property

All:

  • Designs,
  • Logos,
  • Content,
  • Website layouts,
  • Product concepts,
  • Training material and workshop content

created or provided by MM Times are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You are not allowed to:

  • Copy, resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit our IP,
  • Claim ownership of MM Times created designs or content without written authorization.

Where specific ownership transfer (e.g., for logos, branding projects) is agreed in writing, those terms will govern.

15. Third-Party Products & Services

Some products or services may involve:

  • Third-party brands,
  • Logistics providers,
  • External consultants or partners.

While MM Times takes care to work with reliable partners, we are not responsible for:

  • Independent actions or policies of third-party providers,
  • Changes to their terms, pricing, or service quality beyond our control.

Any warranties or support offered directly by manufacturers shall be governed by their own terms.

16. Force Majeure

MM Times shall not be held liable for any delay, failure, or disruption of service or delivery caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters, pandemics, floods, earthquakes,
  • Strikes, lockouts, labour disputes,
  • Internet/telecom failures, power outages,
  • Acts of government, regulatory changes, or legal restrictions,
  • Transport problems, accidents, or courier breakdowns.

In such situations, timelines may be rescheduled or adjusted with prior communication to you.

17. Changes to These Terms

MM Times reserves the right to update, modify, or replace these Buying Terms & Conditions at any time.

The latest version will always be available on our website.

Your continued purchase or use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

In case of any dispute, we encourage you first to contact us through our Customer Rights & Support channel for a friendly resolution.

Subject to this, the courts located in Andhra Pradesh, India (jurisdiction such as Bhimavaram / Tirupati / Sullurpeta as per MM Times registered office) shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
